The New “Sunshine & Poesies” Category

If I had my way, websites, blogs, and Facebook pages would be full of uplifting messages, positive comments, and happy people—spreading a bit of lightheartedness and laughter around the World Wide Web. I’m convinced if folks concentrate on what is good in their lives—celebrating their everyday joys and counting their blessings—we would see many more smiling faces and hear genuinely cheerful chatter, not only on the internet, but in real world existence as well.¹

Last summer, in an effort to further my merry mission, I launched a series called "Not-Quite-Daily Virtual Fortune"; and, while the concept was close, the execution didn’t exactly hit the mark.

After much deliberation on my part, I finally came to a solution; hence, "Sunshine & Poesies" was born. In its new form, I will be posting quotes, common sense, and "marnie-isms"² all collectively sharing the theme of positive living and happy ideas. Watch for these items to appear approximately three or four times a week; I just know you are going to love them! :D

¹Yes, I know that some things are a bummer to deal with—like bills, irritating bosses, and flat tires. I’m suggesting not using the internet to complain about them and focusing 99% of our energy on happier thoughts.
