Each year I look for a dated ornament for our Christmas tree—a treacherous adventure, but I’m up to the challenge. And since I am a fan of handmade and creative items, this time I headed over to Etsy for the search.
Here is what I found: The adorable and über cute Uncommon Creatures by 2011 Niche Award Finalist Doreen Kassel. You only need to scroll through her offerings to see how charming her ornaments are and how talented she is at capturing their personalities.
As much as I liked these guys from their professional poses, I love them even more in person. They have so much character and texture… yum! I know they won’t be the last Uncommon Creatures in my collection either – lol. I already have my eye on a couple more.
